The Canadian Hot 100
The Canadian Hot 100 is a music singles popularity chart issued weekly by Billboard magazine which ranks songs in Canada. It is similar to Billboard's U.S.-based Hot 100 in that it combines sales via digital downloads, as measured by Nielsen SoundScan, and Canadian radio audience levels as measured by Nielsen BDS. Canada's airplay chart is the result of monitoring more than 100 stations representing rock, country, adult contemporary and Top 40 genres. The online version of the chart also features Canadian flag icons next to song titles by Canadian artists.

Jus Red, formally known as Lil'Red, is a Canadian born with a background of Barbadian and Guyanese, South American decent. It is her cultural diversity that provided Red with the knowledge and understanding to appreciate many different genres of music from Calypso and Reggae, to Hip Hop and R&B. At the tender age of 13, Red took her first steps to fame when she arranged her first massive social gathering on a Yacht, in her home town of Christ Church, Barbados. The blooming and rousing entertainer had over 200 tickets sold out two weeks prior of the event; from that point on a Diva was born.
In her late teens, Red moved back to Toronto, where a family friend advised her of a job opportunity at CFXJ-FM (Canada's first urban music station), Flow 93.5 FM, and the rest was history. It didn't take long for this charismatic young lady to work her way up from a volunteer position, to a co-host position. Not long at all from her first day at work, two weeks to be exact, Red was promoted to work with Nathan Downer (Global Television) on Flow's Saturday afternoon Sports Rap-up show where she quickly became a fan favorite with Toronto listeners. Red then went on to having her own weekend morning show called "Red's Ride". Soon enough promoters and marketing executives began flocking to Red with requests to host their events because of her close connection to the music industry and vast demand by the public. All this attention inevitably led to an invitation by Flow's program director to join one of Flow's highly rated shows, the Trauma unit (co-host J-Wyze).
And the journey continues... Red has since become an icon with institutions and communities across Canada soliciting her help in events planning, hosting, public appearances and more. Her dedication to her community is fuelled by her enthusiasm, numerous talents, energy and positive attitude towards life.
Red has been directly in the business for the past 7 years and is everything she sounds like. Her voice has been heard locally and regionally throughout Canada, as well as nationally on various radio online programming. Her style also lends itself nicely to on-air advertisement announcements, commercial voice-over, and video viewers. Red's voice has been described as energetic with a polished narrative, while still sounding trendy and relatable to the urban audience. With her energetic, enjoyable personality and sensual tone, Red touches on entertainment headlines and appealing yet amusing topics which everyone can easily relate to. Toronto's fiery female radio host can be heard every weeknight in the Trauma Unit.
Jus Red is a go-getter and one of the hottest young ladies in Canada's growing entertainment industry. In spite of her hectic schedule, she remains dedicated to her family, friends and community. She's a great example of what every young lady should be, strong, powerful, beautiful, independent and intelligent.
Red flows by the following:
"You have to focus on designing the life you've always wanted to live. Live it up!"
"Don't miss a chance to tell someone you love and care, you just never know."
"When you can laugh about your downfalls that is when you know you have reached true success."
"Live consistently in an environment of love and laughter and you will experience a change in leadership."
