King Jacobs

Chris Jacobs was born an Aries on March 22nd, 1988. He grew up in the Dupont area of Toronto diggin’ hip-hop more than most people. As a young teen he always dreamed of making it big and being a superstar. He dreamed of making the entire world bump their heads to the rhythm and lyrics of his music.
Chris Had a set path and set genre type when it came to music. He had an addiction for songs like Common’s "I Used to Love H.E.R" and Talib Kweli’s "The Blast". That was his set path, it was to grow and feed off of those 2 big time artists. But as he got older, he noticed that you can’t copy others’ styles just to get you noticed. He realized that you have to find out what drives you and light your own fire to get you on your way.
As Chris was setting his path for music he had good friends to help get him there. He received basic programs, microphones, etc. to help break the ice. Over time Chris upgraded his material and started putting more depth into his work and started to make his way through. Chris started to Use the name "King", that he received from family as a nickname. When his music got up to par, eyebrows and question marks started to get airborn. Wondering who’s the face behind "Things You Do". The Type of music that he really enjoys doing is hip-hop, R&B and Soul. But His Favorite Style of all is a mixture of hip-hop and R&B.
Today Chris has been working with great friends/artists and would also like to work with a lot more. reason being that he can grow as an artist and as a person. He is Dedicated to reach the highest point that he can and make an impact in the hip-hop community. Chris’ main focus is to have his voice heard over the air waves throughout Canada and then the entire world. Very big dreams to reach for but he is dedicated and the hunger will never be satisfied.
