Twelv has made a name for herself being the Coldest hip hop female writer and entertainer in her profession. Not only attractive, sassy, petite and sexy, but most listeners double take when the lady steps into any recording booth. She gives you a ear full of personal experience, trend setting lines and tasty reality (real talk) checks. Twelv started to write music at 10 years of age and recording at the age of twelve. Her journey alone proves that she’s earned her place in the music industry. She has had her fans celebrate, cry, reminisce and party to her material in full support. This lady doesn’t follow the dime piece stereo type nor movement in any way. So after 12 years it gave reason to drop a part of her name. In the passed she’s gone by the name 120z (Twelv Once),dropping the 0z and taking a stand as a twelve (Twelv, more than a dime), “like a jewel stashed in a stack silver coins” says Twelv. While still a minor she was put on contract to feature on a re-mix with former A&M recording artist Billy Potter which boosted the pace of her career. Since then the artist has work with Kirk Patrick ( produced a few tracks for Red and Method Man), Gold Finger (while working with H Town), Tony Thompson of Hi Five, Swiff, Houston native E-Class, Red Rum, Top Of The Line (production on projects for Lyfe Jennings, Franchise Boys, Adam Sandler soundtrack etc), Erotic D ( produced for 6’2), Boomtown (Director of Lil Flip “I get money” and Baby Boy “NawMeen” videos), Stampede Records and others. Twelv holds the belt on being the first and only female on 97.9’ The Beat’s “Street Heat”( hosted by D.O.C.)for unsigned artist (2002-2003).She’s received complainants from Jazzie Pha, D.O.C., 6’2, Def Jam reps while free styling on the Ruff Ryder Tour for a crowd of over 30,000, program directors and a list of others. Tony Nel, CEO of The Core DJ’s supports Twelv material and she’s been invited to the majority of his events since her performance at the Core retreat in Dallas, Tx. The artist has also been invited to join the Heavy Weights and Channelz Recordz DJ Pool. Twelv knows that it’s more than just beauty in the end that truly allows you to be successful in all things and to get your point across to others,Currently Twelv is practicing more with her guitar in hopes of one day bringing her guitar in as apart of her performances. She hits the stage with passion and energy like no other female hip hop artist in the music biz. This lady not only writes hip hop, she also writes pop, rap, r&b, neo soul and other genres of music and she’s utilizing those talents by writing for other underground artist. The goddess is out everyday pushing her name on those who haven’t heard. When there’s not a crew, Twelv solos her hustle and goes out to get her own shows, network opportunities, make appearances and negociate deals thru her briefcase and intelligence. Near the summer of 2008, the artist will be releasing her highly anticipated Junior studio album which will include featured from artist in Milwaukee, Texas, ATL, Mississippi, Kansas negotiating with a few Chicago artist. With in the last few months, Twelv has been featured on other artist projects such as Big Hud, David Chris, Bonnie View Mafia, Jacroz and Kirk of GCG out of Louisiana, Young Reezy and speaking with a few United Kingdom artist to name a few. The potential of this lady becoming one of the next female leaders in music and entertainment is undoubtable . Her fans consist of both male and female of all ages that are motivating and securing her to hands down be in “the game” for years to come. Her shows are full of energy and crowd interaction pulling you into her creations. From her fashion sense to the way her words roll off her tongue, she’s enticing in every way. This goddess only gets better with time and with time moving fast, she’s quickly gaining more recognition for such hard work. Twelv has an array of talent that includes singing, dance, she’s an actress, choreographer, writing for publications, model, designer and list continues.
