From R&B to Hip Hop to Reagge STREET ESSENCE MUSIC is a Production Team located in Toronto that is set to develop sounds that make you feel good. It all began as a dream when Jahmal "Twin" Banner (Producer/Engineer) fell in love with drums at the age of 7, he began building drum patterns on tables then applyin it to the drum kit then as years when on at the age of 16 he began playing the drums at live concerts and appearing as a back up drummer for bands and as a recording drummer in a studio. Twin played the drums for Toronto Reggae Recording Artist Leroy Brown. While being around the studio environment Twin learned how to apply his drumming techniques into a drum machine arranging drum patterns with different instruments. At the age of 18 Twin finished high school where he then went to college Trebas Insitute to study Audio Engineering Technologies. During his time at Trebas he met Producer/Engineer Riccardo "Tucan" Martin who co-ownes EQUIKNOXX MUSIC and produced the number 1 hit song around the world "STEP OUT" By "Busy Signal". Also at the time Twin met Producer/Engineer Jamal "Slo" Kalfan who owns TIME MUSIC. While Twin, Tucan, and Slo went to college together and shared the same dreams they decided to set up a production company presently STREET ESSENCE MUSIC and also a Recording Studio presently named PSYCH WARD RECORDING STUDIO Working longside Legendary Musician Mr. BERNIE PITTERS. Psych Ward Recording Studio is located in Toronto Canada.
