'Moments', the first single from the Tréson Meets VX EP, quickly became one of the most requested songs on a number of top Toronto radio programmes including FLOW, CHRY, CIUT,CKLN and CBC. The song secured a spot on Flow 93.5's Riddim Track Top 10 Countdown, and held a spot on the chart for 15 consecutive weeks, twice reaching the number one position. The song also soared to the top of Zion Train's "RESI" Top Ten Chart (in ReggaeXclusive Magazine), and remained on the chart for over six months.
2006 was a momentous year for Tréson. His songs 'Jen-Ee-Rocka' (Dubmatix Remix), 'Moments', and 'Dirt, Dust and Sand' (from the recently released Dubmatix album Atomic Subsonic) have all received global airplay and tremendous feedback. Marlon Regis of The Beat Magazine in Los Angeles gave the Dubmatix remix of Jen-Ee-Rocka four stars and calls it "…lounge-like, lovers rock chill out reggae groove, enough to make Sade's songs of heartbreak seem cheerful." In 2006, Tréson not only graced airwaves worldwide but he also had the opportunity to showcase his talent in front of thousands. He was invited to headline the final Reggae Revival at Original Motorcycle in Toronto, and also performed at the Montreal International Reggae Festival, Afri-Cari Fest at Kingswood Music Theatre (Paramount Canada's Wonderland), Rastafest at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre, and American Express Canada's VIP pre-parties for the Mary J. Blige and Black Eyed Peas concerts at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre.2006 Saw Tréson giving unforgetable performances. World Partnership Walk, festivities. Superheavy Reggae at Tymeless and the Canadian Reggae Star finals in Montreal. 2006 saw the growth of an Artist.In 2007, Tréson shared the stage with Beres Hammond and Marcia Griffiths at the Docks Entertainment Complex, two Legends in Reggae Music. Recieving favourable feedback, NOW Magazine "Opener Tréson and NYC's Leon & the Peoples mashed it down musically in their own right. Rocking a stripped-down set on the solo tip, Tréson toasted with energetic flows". With the strong support of his hometown Toronto, Tréson recieves regular rotation on, CHRY, CKLN, CIUT, University Radio stations. FLOW93.5, CBC Radio have also recognized his work. Tréson has become a household name in Toronto. November 2007 Sly and Roobie at the Phoenix, Concert Theatre, SOLD OUT. Tréson with IBADAN openned the night to thunderous applause from hometown fans. " humbling" says Tréson when asked about the recognition and support he gets from his hometown. Reggae Xclusive Magazine writes, "every moment I spend with this man and his music is a moment to cherish. He is so talented and his performance at this event was another one to remember"
