As a DJ, Aram Scaram is known for effortlessly blending Reggae, Dub, Soul, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass, Funk and SKA. This inspired him to launch the popular monthly party
Dub and Beyond, now in its 4th year. He is also a member of Toronto's
Dub Collective, which hold down a monthly residency at reggae hot-spot Thymeless.
As a producer, his debut release 'Urban Blue' garnered attention with a UMAC nomination for best spoken word recording. Along with his continued production contributions to
Version Xcursion he is currently in the studio working on projects with Prince Blanco, Kultcha Ites and his
Citizen Sound original riddims, mash-ups and remixes.
As a radio personality, Aram Scaram, along with partner Sassa'le Produce and co-host the popular
Version Xcursion show, Saturday 8-10 pm on CKLN 88.1 FM (Toronto, Canada). Now in it's 12th year the show has established itself in the local and international community, as a source for dub music new and old, and for pushing new and exciting Canadian sounds.
