VERSION XCURSION a.k.a. SASSA'LE and ARAM SCARAM continue to break boundaries and concepts in pushing the music they love 'DUB'.Their radio program now 10 years strong on CKLN 88.1 FM has established itself in the community and internationally, as a source for dub music new and old, and for pushing new and exciting Canadian sounds.As producers they have 4 releases to date; their debut album 'Radio' and 3 ep's in their 'VX meets' series - Treson, Andrea & Ammoye. They have also done remix work for several projects including Undadogg, System Echo & Citizen SoundAs promoters and Djs they are involved in 2 monthlies. Dub & Beyond, which happens every first Saturday of the month from Andy Poolhall, features monthly guest and the popular 'Unplugged & Homegrown" session, which are broadcast live-to-air from 8-10pm on CKLN 88.1 FM. Dub & Beyond, now in its 3rd year, has seen the likes of J Star (London, UK), Rob Smith (Britol, UK) and J.Boogie (Sanfrancisco, USA).Version Xcursion also team up with Natewize, Prince Blanco and the Dubmatix Soundsystem for their montly Dub Collective parties. This Event takes place at Toronto's reggae hotspot, Thymless.Look and listen out for Version Xcursion as they take their sound to radio and dance floors worldwide.
