About Me

Toby Wren plays jazz guitar and writes music. He was trained at the QCMGU in composition and contemporary music. He won the 1997 DIGF composition prize for his guitar piece 'nebbish', has had pieces performed by the Queensland and West Australian Orchestras, written arrangements for rock bands George, Rhubarb, Blind and others, and has released 2 CDs of original material. Toby is also a member of the Trevor Hart Quartet and Babel.The studio recordings above are from my album "Umlaut", which is available on my website www.tobywren.com, or at Birdland (sydney), RockingHorse or Skinny's (Brisbane).
