About Me
Jyoti has been exciting audiences with his guitar for over ten years now. He plays many styles and loves and is heavily influenced by world music and its rhythms. He has played throughout Australia in different bands and also performed internationally over the last 5 years. After playing Jazz and Funk, his attention was drawn to the traditional form of Spanish Flamenco guitar which took him over to Andalucia in the south of Spain to study the art (2004).Jyoti has performed in small shows and private functions in restaurants and cafés, to large corporate functions, festivals and concerts. Playing as a soloist, also with duos and trios as well as with bands, there are so many different atmospheres, which he can create, perfect to suit any environment. He's currently working on material for his new band, bringing Flamenco, Latin & Funk together to create a fresh sound that invigorates your soul...
