''IT'S AN OUTRAGE...''

About Me

Hello! My name is Matt Wescott. The reason I have a myspace site is to promote my music.I am a singer/songwriter, play solo gigs and am also in a band Tremor. Over the last few years I have done lots of exciting gigs both as a solo performer and within a couple of mildly successful bands. In Bristol I've played at The Louisiana, The Fleece, Fiddler's, The Croft and The Thekla. This culminated in a sold out gig at Bristol Carling Academy which three members of Tremor, myself included are proud to have been a part of.In London I've played at the legendary Marquee, Astoria II and done showcases in Camden Town and Soho. Other places around the UK I have played include Cornwall, Devon, Cardiff, Bath and lots of charming pubs in quaint towns and villages. I should also say that Weston super Mare has been particularly encouraging to me as a whole town and thank the people from there that come to gigs etc etc. You know who you are.Artists I've shared a stage with and particularly rate include Newton Faulkner, Fionn Regan, The Wurzels, Rob Sharples, Katey Brooks, Fortune Drive, System Vertigo, Nigel Clark (of 'Dodgy' fame) and my personal favourites The Cheeky Girls! In 2008 I have two goals, the first is to sort my personal health out. I have a disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis which has effected me badly over the second half of 2007 and early 2008 as the effects are like chronic rheumatoid arthritis when it's at its worst. However, I am sure that once more I will receive fantastic support from physio and hydrotherapists to combat it and am also looking into reflexology and accupuncture. The second is to get as many people as possible turned on to my band Tremor. We have recently recorded a demo and it is the best and most complete sounding thing I've ever been involved with. Details of where to download etc will follow but for now if you haven't already done so you can add Tremor via my top friends and hear three of our songs on our player there. We have some really exciting things lined up for 2008 and beyond so stay tuned! Take care, smell ya later!
