Wheelrunner

Wheelrunner formed in 2000 they released in 2001 their first “selftitled” demo with 7 tracks. It was considered a unique Heavy Metal composition. In the early of 2002, On March of 2003, he band attempted their second recording. They started recording “Rock & Roll Lover”, a 6-track demo that was more in the Hard N' Heavy vein. Since then, Wheelrunner with a powerful and fixed line-up, performed in numerous live areas in Athens such us “An club”, “Rodeo Live club”, “Aeras Club” “Rodon Live!” etc., playing along with well known Greek bands like Violet Vortex, Aggelos Perlepe's Mystery, Semic Steins. During these live shows they gave many copies of their demo which made them even more known. They also released a 3 track promo cd, which received exceptional reviews, and opened the gigs for Jon Oliva's Pain tour in Greece (both in Thessalonica and Athens) with the blessings of Jon Oliva (Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) himself! Right now Wheelrunner are in the process of finishing the composition of the new songs that will compile a full lenght album. In which, they will try to promote a unique style of classic Hard Rock – Metal brought into nowadays sound, along with the band's various influences. Wheelrunner are looking for a record deal with plans to start recording - promoting their debut album in fall 2007...
