About Me

Dance has always been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done. After all these years of dancing, choreographing and touring with dance companies, I felt that I had to challenge something completely different and new. The time had come for me to have a big change, or otherwise dance would have lost all of its meaning to me.
It was somewhere around there when I woke up one day and decided to become a drummer. Although I always had the wish to go into music, this decision surprised even me. I immediately began taking drumming lessons and bought my first v-drums set (one by one, pad by pad, cymbal by cymbal etc.) At that period of time, I felt as if I had to race time to compensate for the years lost. So I practiced like a maniac and since being a maniac is really close to being in love, that is exactly when the drums became the second love of my life.
Being a founding member of WC gave me the opportunity to live in Chicago and New York City for several years, to play in various venues, to experiment with my music, and to test drive my drumming by joining two more bands. The really interesting thing is that although WC and music is what got me to NYC at the first place, dance is what benefited the most out of it cause a few months later I found myself working in Broadway Dance Center, something that I was dreaming about since I was a kid.
But the true freaky thing is, that Broadway Dance Center lies on the same building with NYC’s Hard Rock Café, as if fate was blinking its eye on me predicting that my life will always be cut in two and shared between dancing and Rocking, drumming and dancing, choreographing and making music……whatever!!, either ways I’m happy about it. If I could only remember what was in my drink that day that drumming and music got in my way…….lol
