First of all, please bear in mind while listening that all the songs posted are rough demos recoded live in the garage. We are looking to get into the studio soon to get them all down in a much cleaner format.Chris Phillips and Gary Fender have been casually playing music together for about 12 years. Nothing was really concrete until we started playing with Brimstone, a Lansing based metal band with Beau Joblonski and Mario McFadden in November of 2006. Due to musical differences, we split in February of 2007. Beau and Mario went on to form Circle of Crows, and they are very good. However, that left us to start from scratch looking to capture that certain sound that’s missing from so much music now, the eerie feeling, subtle darkness, and real emotion that is so difficult to capture mixed with quality musicianship and deep lyrics that listeners can relate to and understand. After struggling through a few months in Limbo, we set up in my old friend Fred Enos’ garage. He was really into what we were doing and despite the fact that he had limited musical experience, he was brought on as the bass player. He has taken to playing bass like fish take to swimming. His original riffs are the backbone of several songs. Then we played russian roullette with guitar players for a couple months before meeting Britt Turner. Britt was phenomenal to work with but, unfortunately, due to the shitty Michigan economy, he moved to Florida in January. Fortunately, Jason Delong came along at the right time. He is an amazing guitar player and quickly picked up all of our songs which was a huge releief knowing we’d be able to carry on without missing a beat. We have just recently added Jay Rogers as a second guitar player. After playing with 2 guitars, we knew we couldn’t go back to just 1. We are constantly writing new material. Look for us at a club or bar near you very soon.
