Joni Mitchell, I have always loved her music and her paintings. I was able to go see her perform once in San Diego and ......almost once in Santa Barbara. I fell from a wall at the amphitheater just before the show and broke my leg. The paramedics came to take me away a little before she came on. I did get back just in time to catch the last 2 songs from the sidelines. Lucky for me I can watch the concert I missed on my copy of her Shadows and Light DVD so I guess it has worked out. I also love her art but have never been able to view it in person. I am sure that the brush strokes and colors would be even more fabulous up close and personal. Does anyone know where any of Joni's art is on display?

Of course.......to really find out about SummerSongs......just visit www. Sumersongs.com and when you do.......say Hi to Penny Nichols for me.....she is a great singer/songwriter and the visionary behind SummerSongs.
I love a good movie.....especially if it has great music. Have you ever seen a movie without music or where the music doesn't fit the mood...If the music isn't right then the movie is all wrong.
If you like music and would like to learn more about songwriting,.. Check out www.summersongs.com

A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side.
