Formed in Summer of 1994 The Gourds has been a mainstay of Austin and the National roots music scene for a decade. Having produced a solid 8 recordings and toured far and wide, the boys are still playing fab shows and burning lots of rubber on the tires of their well travelled van. This November will see their first even appearance on Austin City Limits TV show. Recently featured on NPR's weekend edition as well.
