About Me

MyGen Profile Generator

Hi!
Welcome to Jolly Old Bingland. I make nice video!
My webpage is located at BingFutch.com
J.O.B. Entertainment is the audio/video production company that I founded in 1984. Everything from wedding videos to short films, we do it. I also am a songwriter and compose original music for movies, t.v., live theater, attractions and web content. Exciting though that may be, performing live and creating music in the moment is what I love most.
As an instructor and performer of the Appalachian mountain dulcimer, I conduct workshops at various festivals and perform at events ranging from rock clubs to weddings. If you're interested in having me appear at an event, here are links to: workshops, as well as resources for lessons and private video sessions , which are available through AIM, Yahoo Messenger and Skype.
My music page features selected tracks, appearance schedule and sort of looks like the page that you're on right now. Thanks for visiting!

BING FUTCH: Dulcimer Rock
Mountain dulcimer like you've never heard it before. This is a collection of tunes ranging from Indian ragas, Native American rhythms and world-beat arrangements to catchy roots and pop-rock dance tracks filled with luscious melodies and stacked harmonies.
BING FUTCH: Dulcimerica Volume 1
Bing’s first solo mountain dulcimer release features instrumental arrangements of traditional tunes along with some modern originals and American classics.
MOHAVE: Clear Blue Trickling
Bing's band Mohave serves up a uniquely alternative Americana blend of slave chants, Native American rhythms, blues, jazz, country, Celtic and roots-rock styles with pop hooks, timeless stories and electrified mountain dulcimer.
BING FUTCH: 70mm
Described as "an electronic theater-hopping experience", this instrumental album by Mohave founder Bing Futch is a freewheeling excursion through a sonic landscape of moods, memories and magic.
I live in Casa de Milagro in Orlando, Florida with my wife Jae , our cats Blackjack Savage and Sluefoot Sue, a ball python named Monty and our border collie Bella Dolce.
"Create each day anew by clothing yourself with heaven and earth, bathing yourself with wisdom and love, and placing yourself in the heart of Mother Nature." - Morihei Ueshiba
"Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who mistreat you." Luke 6:27-28
"Luxury is being understood." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you." - Jesus The Christ .
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand. - Old Irish Blessing
"Today, like every other day, we wake up empty and scared.
Don't open the door to the study and begin reading.
Take down the dulcimer." - Djalal ad-Din Rumi
"Somehow I can't believe there are any heights that can't be scaled by a man who knows the secret of making dreams come true. This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized in four C's. They are Curiosity, Confidence, Courage, and Constancy and the greatest of these is Confidence. When you believe a thing, believe it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably." - Walt Disney
