About Me

MyGen Profile Generator

I might be a "grandma"
but common opinion is, I don't act or look like one!
Altho, I can talk all night and all day about my babies! I'd like to think that one day, probably when I'm a great-great-grandmother, I'll be among these fine ladies!

But, I'll never wear heels on a bike!
I was really supposed to marry this guy,
This is who I DID marry!

You scored as Angel. Angel: Angels are the guardians of all things, from the smallest ant to the tallest tree. They give inspiration, love, hope, and positive emotion. They live among humans without being seen. They are the good in all things, and if you feel alone, don't fear. They are always watching. Often times they merely stand by, whispering into the ears of those who feel lost. They would love nothing more then to reveal themselves, but in today's society, this would bring havoc and many unneeded questions. Give thanks to all things beautiful, for you are an Angel.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I've met zillions of people, tons of musicians, and have boat loads of pics I'll be reposting off and on!
So, who would I like to meet?? Well, I guess I haven't met them yet!

These just should go without having to say

I would like to meet Eric Clapton. After all, he IS my oldest sons father, and we have MUCH to discuss!

I've been privledged to meet many, MANY famous musicians....and there are many more I would love to meet. Unfortunately, some of them aren't with us here on earth anymore.....but, their music will live on forever

This video is WAY cool!
I saw it on Deutsch MTV in 1998, and I've been trying to find it for years! I couldn't remember the name of the song or the artist! Thanx to one of the best people I've found on Myspace, I found it
Massive Attack - Teardrop

And how cool is this!?
Leave me a voice mail!!

Music:

I think I'll start with this. It's one of my more memorable experiences. We were at NAMM in Anaheim, and Dana had a meeting the exact same time of the unveiling of the new SRV strat. So, guess who got go?? It was infuckingcredible.

Here's my invitation I had autographed. Maybe you can make out a few more than I can! Actually, I think there's just 1 or 2 that I can't remember whose autograph is on there. But if you can't read them, the first is Buddy guy, then in no particular order, Eric Gales, Danny Gatton,Albert Collins, Cliff Layton, Tommy Shannon, and Jimmy Vaughan. That other ones are a mystery! If you've got any clues, PLEASE, let me know!

This is the back of it.

This is Jimmy Vaughan & Chris Layton signing what you see here!

We're all going to miss you, brother.

I LOVE GOING TO NAMM SHOWS!!
This was my first experience at NAMM (National Assoc. of Music Merchandisers). I've been to 4 more since. The last time was when our friend, Cliff Darby, won a song writing contest hosted by Shure. Among his prizes, were bringing along his favorite salesman. Lucky me! I'm married to him!
He also opened at the House of Blues for headliner "The Rev. Horton Heat."

I'll be posting more pictures from our NAMM experiences....and try not to make them too lame! Like this is pretty cool!

I wish this picture were better, but yes folks, that IS Carlos Santana.
I really need to blog about my meeting him!

Movies:

Mostly. I like comedies.
Monty Pyton and Mel Brooks RULE!!!

Anything with this hot Kentucky boy in it!

I don't "WATCH" music, as in video's on MTV or VH1
but this is a concert, with amazing musicians. The only member of Pink Floyd, is Roger Waters. The rest are just an amazing array of talent!
"The Wall" has been one of my favorite pieces of music for years.
This is a MUST SEE for any fan of "The Wall," the music and the movie.

Books:

I read a lot of different books.
Anything from fiction to biographies, and I'm very interested in the metaphyiscal realm.
Books such as "The Celestine Prophecy" and "Conversations with God"

I also love to cook! My first cook book was "Fannie Farmer Cook Book," and I use it to this day.

Also, anything by Hunter S. Thompson

Heroes:

The Cisco Cat
He rox! Sumpin special about black kitties!
All kidding a side, I've had many heroes in my life. My biggest hero, is probably this guy
My oldest son Dave.
Altho my husand Dana has saved me more time than I can count, and I'll love him forever for that, and many other reasons.
Altho, having my son at such a young age, probably saved my life, and undoubtedly from lots and LOTS of trouble!
He definitely kept me on my toes!
Then his little brother Chad came along when he was 4 1/2,
and they've both grown up to be fine men, and have given me 3 beautiful grandsons!
This will always be one of my favorite pictures!
These are my baby boys around Thanksgiving while we were all in Savannah.
Dave's boys. My Sweet Angels Davey & Chris
This is Chad's son, Jared who turned 5 this July. I think he's going to be at LEAST as big as his daddy!
Apparently, as I've been told, I can be quite annoying with a camera in my hands!
"Mom....PLEASE STOP taking my picture!!"
