Global Green USA

Shift happens. One person at a time.

About Me

Global Green USA, the U.S. affiliate of Green Cross International, reconnects humanity to the environment, peace and security by addressing our three greatest challenges, as identified in 1993 by Green Cross Chairman Mikhail Gorbachev:
Stemming global climate change by creating green buildings and cities. Eliminating weapons of mass destruction that threaten lives and the environment. Providing clean, safe drinking water for the 2.4 billion people who lack access to clean water.
Global Green USA works to help Americans reestablish their commitments to meeting these challenges - the peaceful resolution of conflict and protection of humankind and the environment. All Americans must strive to renew America's pledge to abolish all weapons of mass destruction - nuclear, chemical and biological - and to promote disarmament and nonproliferation globally. America must regain the trust of the international community by cooperatively supporting and fully funding all international arms control agreements.Should the challenges of climate change and water shortages go unchecked, millions of people will be displaced from their homes, gravely jeopardizing international security. It is the moral obligation of us all, including the next U.S. President, to fight these dangerous trends that threaten a peaceful and secure future.
