Trust me...there will be no blowdryers or fingernail polish-let alone guns and ammo…there will be no gambling casinos or limos either.I came back to FABULOUS Las Vegas, Nevada, ten years ago, my roots.Soon, I discovered how easy it was to gage change and predict trends by what was being torn down, built up and who was on trial. What a surprise. Our region, World has changed a lot in a very short time : ( My Dad, Tsgt Juan D. Garcia, has been gone for quite some time now, he died ten short years after Viet Nam. Nellis AFB, here in Las Vegas, Nevada was his first assignment. I myself, am prior Air Force Reserve, serving as an Environmental Health Specialist, later cross training to become a Medic/Emergency Medical Technician. In the civilian world I worked, as a Corporate Dental Manager and even, as the Industrial Sales Rep in the Las Vegas Region, for an International Propane Company.7 years ago, sitting at the computer, wondering why I had gathered all the knowledge and experience I had to that point, ---you know… WHY, WHY, Why am I here? What is my purpose? My fingers suddenly started putting words, sentences and then this strategy on my blank screen.Those fingers worked 7/24 for a full year. Once I was finished, still in a state of disbelief, exhaustion and PASSION, I took the next 6 years to research and survey the 'Project' the PASSION, to ensure I wasn't crazy--crazy to think that this strategy could actually change the tide, our World is fast slipping into. As they say, I took the time and I did the math--Thank you to my family for all you have sacraficed. It is for you, I work endlessly.It really is a NO Brainer. In 1961 John F. Kennedy, in his inaugural speech, stated that, "God's work must truly be our own", and we should, " Ask what we can do together". Sounds like a pretty good thing to me, America, the World is built on Capitalism.Let's look at the big picture. Private enterprise: an economy in which the production of goods and services is carried out by businesses owned and operated by people risking their investment of capital and/or labor in the hope of making a profit.Private industry/organizations spend millions/billions to advertise, promote their wares, their good deeds--sustain their familiesConsumers, you and I, spend billions to buy their wares and services. A nice relationship, right?We throw everything away, cars to kids. How much respect and compassion can the World have for you and I…after all, we are the people, in "We the People" and guess what? We have the power.The best way to make real and lasting change is through those who, 'think' they have no power. I personally am so very happy that you welcomed our friendship.
I am extremely excited to see such a young gentleman using his spare time in such an awesome endeavor, with such an awesome tool; myspace.
NOT sure why, but all of my Official Driver Friends/sites have gone away. Must be a marketing contractural thing.. ? hummm.
But, sure glad we can have representation from yourself "!!"
Folks need to understand that NASCAR is the most knowledgable and experienced group, we as Americans have to educate others on safety, fuel and emission issues facing us today and into our next generations.
