About Me

MISSION STATEMENT:Emerald Horizons Entertainmentâ„¢ is Breaking Green Groundâ„¢ in our dedication to developing quality digital, film and print media content that will inspire young and old to respect our earth and the environment it has provided for us. To inform and entertain is our work. To make a difference in the world is our life. Our commitment is to produce quality "green" programming, that will inform and entertain viewers on environmentally sound practices in new home construction and existing home renovation; demonstrate alternative energy and public service facilities for an entire community; reclaim natural land use, reintroducing native plants, which, in turn, attract native wildlife; and empower viewers to embrace and employ ecology and conservancy in their own lives and the lives of those around them. CHECK OUT OUR WEBSITE CLICK www.emeraldhorizonsentertainment.com For all the discussion about the environment there is still so much more to be done to make our dreams of a sustainable world a reality. We are here to help move that dream forward. We start at HighGrove, named after Prince Charles' English estate. A 105 acre homesteaded farm just an hours drive outside of Chicago. We will focus on the transformation of this 160 year old farm into an eco-friendly and self sustaining community. It will feature Suzanne and Tom Casey, the sole developers, thier decision to leave a family legacy, their plan of conservation, their commitment to the earth and their forbearance to move forward after four years and a down turned housing market. As Kermit the frog once said, "It's not easy being Green." We will show that "not easy" does not mean impossible. HighGrove is an award winning home site conservation development in Minooka, IL. http://www.highgrovecommunity.com/ (2007 USEPA Conservation and Native Landscaping Award)..

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People and organizations who are in a green frame of mind; people who are 'green' at being green but want to learn; and people who are interested in pro-actively saving the planet.

Movies:

Heroes:

Each person and organization who is part of our MySpace Community are our heroes. They have all been selected carefully because of their convictions. Therefore, don't stop at the "40 Top Friends". There are many other important friends beyond to the last page. Each "Friend" is special and would not be here on our site if they were not.
