At the moment I am building thegreencottage.info website, it will be about the joys and challenges of going green, growing organic food, living simply, starting a small business, eating healthier for less money, building backyard wildlife habitats, composting, cottage gardening, recycling, and just having good green fun. Along the way I will share what I am learning from the adventures of the ongoing transformation of my "smalltown" house and yard into The GREEN COTTAGE.

I am also an Independent Garden Consultant for THE HAPPY GARDENER, which carries a complete line of evironmentally-friendly lawn and garden products. As a consultant it affords me a wonderful opportunity to learn more and teach others about organic gardening, lawn care, backyard wildlife habitats, and composting, through educational presentation, in-home demonstrations, environmental events, and more.
