About Me

Hi! My name is Julia Garufi...
Thanks for stopping by to check out my profile.

I’ve created this page to connect with other people who have achieved – or are SEEKING – greater balance in their lives. In today’s world it is a challenge facing many people. I want to connect with other entrepreneurs who desire to create wealth with PURPOSE and use their influence to better the world as a whole. My journey so far has brought me to a place of greater peace, financial independence and true freedom to live a life in balance. I’d love to share a little more about that here on my profile.

More about me

I spent my childhood in a beautiful small Vermont town, and went in search of adventure at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, OH. I spent many years in Seattle before moving back to Vermont following the birth of our first daughter.

Early on, I discovered my interest was in health and wellness and I spent many years working in the Women’s Health field as a patient advocate in many different capacities. While I truly valued my relationships with patients over the years, I began to suffer from the lack of balance in my life. I was looking for more freedom and flexibility in my schedule, yet I still needed to do something meaningful in my life.

Following a car accident, my rehabilitation led me to discover the benefits of Therapeutic Massage on both the Body and the Mind. I attended Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle and have been a practicing Massage Therapist for over 15 years.

Quest for balance

My massage practice afforded me many wonderful gifts. I had the ability to make a living while offering a meaningful experience to my clients on their own quest for balance. I also had the flexibility to be a fulltime Mom to my 2 daughters, Fiona (now 9) and Heather (6). My wonderful husband Roger and I met back at Antioch and we’ve been very fortunate to be able to share so much, especially the experience of being a family.

Somewhere during 2005 I became aware of two things: (1) my body was beginning to show the signs of a long massage career and carrying children around for countless hours, (2) with the economy crashing and the kid’s college tuition, our aging parents, and our own retirement looming in the startlingly not too distant future- I couldn’t possibly do enough massages to help increase our income.

What next…

So what was I going to do? There was no way I could get a “job”- not after the freedom I’d had over my work schedule for most of my life. It was then, when I was putting my intent out to the Universe, that I decided to take advantage of a home based business opportunity.

This was, in some ways, a radical change for me. But in other ways it was the perfect extension of what I had been trying to do all my life: achieve balance and help as many other people as I can, find balance in their lives too.

It wasn’t easy

After trying a couple of things that didn’t exactly work out, I admit that I felt discouraged and even a little foolish. But I KNEW I wanted a thriving online business for myself.

I set out to learn all I could about internet marketing, marketing systems, lead generation systems, attraction marketing, social networking, Web 2.0 and more. I sought out mentors who taught me how to fit all the puzzle pieces together and create my own dynamic online business.

It was worth it
I put my intentions out to the Universe and I continue to attract people into my life who are positive, have a strong belief in themselves, and who enjoy helping others. I am joined everyday, on this journey, by people who are REALLY ready to make changes in their lives.

If you are someone who is serious about living life how YOU want to live it, I would love to share my experience and resources with you. You’re pursuit of freedom and balance is not as hard as you may believe it is. And there are infinite rewards for your persistence.
