"HIGH is higher state of consciousness. PERFORMANCE is live. POETRY is words. HPP began life in June 2005 when the vocal only album, The Globe Project vol. 1 by Craig Wilson, was released in Exeter (UK) after 4 months of recording at MOP/New Music Developments with assistance from Andy 'Bliss' Evans and Jon Mila. The CD was hand made to begin with, however with Princes Trust support and DMC in Plymouth, the first pro. version of this album became available in January 2006. With its mix of urban, social, experimental, political, creative and love poems, the album made an initial positive impression but the general feedback was that the album required music. It wasn’t until June 2007 when Craig released All our Possible Futures with music by Italian Frichi here on MySpace. This track is a thought provoking love poem that has a surreal beauty about it. By October 2007, Blind Truth Studios, an American with an idea how to put performance poetry to music came forward and offered his services. The Devil is at Command, Big Brother plus Chaos and Disorder were the first tracks that Blind Truth tackled. With very positive feedback and a good vibe from these much harder and political tracks, it was decided that a whole album needed to be done. By December 2007, Craig Wilson and High Performance Poetry was joined by both Frichi and Blind Truth for the 2008 version of The Globe Project. The wealth of talent that is on this album is staggering and the results speak for themselves. Please also visit WILSON (Craig), Blind Truth and Frichi Myspace pages in the top friends to learn more about these great artists. High Performance Poetry has also acted as an events company and ran The Hatchet Open Mic night in Bristol (UK) for a total of 10 shows in 2007. The term High Performance Poetry is also used on all of Craig Wilson’s published poetry collections. The new album HPP: Globe Project is expected to be released in the summer of 2008. ‘Ego Death’ has already been played on BBC radio Bristol Uncovered in Feb. 2008 so Welcome to the Globe Project!http://www. msplinks. com/MDFodHRwOi8vcHJvZmlsZS5teXNwYWNlLmNvbS9pbmRleC5jZm0/ZnVz

"Gilles Villeneuve - The Greatest Battle
Add to My Profile | More VideosNote about the video: Gilles Villeneuve raced for Ferrari between 1978 until his untimely death in 1982. One of the greatest racing drivers never to have won the world championship, this video gives the perfect illistration as to what he was capable of behind the wheel of an F1 car. This was in fact for 2nd place at the 1979 French GP at Dijon where he fought with Frenchman Rene Arnoux in his Renault Turbo car. In the final laps they banged wheels, locked brakes and ran off the road and Gilles beat Arnoux (who was one of the top F1 Drivers during the Turbo era) fair and square. Gilles son Jacques Villeneuve won the F1 World Chapionship for Williams Renault in 1997.
