The Memory Band folk supergroup was born at the turn of the century and draws upon the disparate talents of a network of musicians all of whom share a predilection for music of an acoustic bent and songs about love and dancing. With rhythms, strings and singing in both harmony and unison.

The first album was released on Hungry Hill in 2004, which is run in conjunction with Spinney Records. Our second album Apron Strings was released on Peacefrog Records in the UK and Dicristina Stairbuilders in North America.Our latest release is a cover version of the Lal Waterson song "To Make You Stay" which appears on the Migrating Bird collection on Honest JonsPrevious Releases:SINGLES/EPs:Why/Come Write Me DownCalling On Fanny Adams ALBUMS:The Memory Band also available on iTunesApron Stringsall available at Rough Trade
