"Seize the day and all it brings as for all we know, there could be no tomorrow..."
The core impetus of The No Tomorrows stems from the summer of 2005 when as "Zero 2 Seven" chief songwriter Baz Kane and drummer Peanut embarked on practice sessions in Nottinghamshire, alongside the "more than an anchor" basslines of a then young and whistful Ben White.
Noted for delivering a high energy foothold as Zero 2 Seven (taking cues from latter-day saints and stoical contempories such as The Police and Smashing Pumpkins), plans were in place....
But they weren’t to be - things got murky. Something happened and the band were relocated to a distant memory - great moments to be revisited in that great scrapbook in the blue yonder...
Or Were they?
Reconviening in June 2007 through Peanut albeit cautiously phoning his old bandmate Baz (who already had the formulation of The No Tomorrows purely as a solo studio project) - plans were put in place not to look back, but to step forward and get back in the frame. This brought about the added ingredient which was good friend of Peanuts - and prodigal bass player Tony Start in January 2008.
So Here they are...stronger, impassioned and ready to put an emotive (but never "Emo", they are far too sussed to support mere sloganeering) touch back into an all too noticeable soulless inertia.
