SOZE, BASED IN GLASGOW, ARE A ROCK BAND WITH A WEE INDIE EDGE. THEY HAVE BEEN GIGGING FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS NOW AND HAVE BEEN PLAYING SOME GREAT HAUNTS INCLUDNG A SUCCESSFUL EP RELEASE NIGHT AT ABC AND AN OUTSTANDING GIG AT KING TUTS WAH WAH HUT ON 5TH JANUARY WITH LOGAN.
ALONG WITH THE EP "ANOTHER MODERN GURU" THEY ALSO HAVE A COLLECTION OF EARLIER RECORDINGS AVAILABLE - "SO IT ALL BEGINS AGAIN". BOTH CAN BE GOTTEN THROUGH THEIR WEB-SITE WWW.SOZE.CO.UK OR BY ASKING NICELY!
AT PRESENT THEY ARE ABOUT TO RECORD A NEW BATCH OF TUNES WHICH THEY WILL GIG WITH A BIT LATER IN THE YEAR. WATCH OUT FOR THE DETAILS.
SOZE REALLY COME TO LIFE WHEN PLAYING LIVE. IT'S AN ENVIRONMENT THEY THRIVE IN AND THEIR SOUND CROSSES BRIDGES FROM ZEPPELIN TO TEXAS CHUCKING IN A BIT OF GARBAGE ALONG THE WAY!

NB: Soze would like to say that we do not use computer generated 'add' programs. We love having all our friends and know there is mutual respect there. We do our own searching and don't ask for friends if we don't like the music we hear or have an affinity/respect for what a person/organisation is doing.
We would rather have 1 genuine friend who is into our music or us as people, than a thousand computer generated add-ons. We hope you appreciate our sincerity in this and therefore know if we've added/requested your friendship....we really really mean it.

Band Members: ALAN FENNER - Ironically the drummer is the only member of SozÃ« to have a degree ...nae two degrees, one in computer wizardry and the other in surreal quips. He'll keep you up-to-date with the latest conspiracy theory whilst blaming Sunny D and Skips for the axis of evil!!

Answering mainly to Fenner, Fenster or The Fenz, don't touch his hardware or you'll end up snared in his 'Dog Bone' clamps!!!

Sports a goatee in true IT style.

GREIG MCMILLAN - The guitarist who can play any riff from Zeppelin to Prince to Girls Aloud...and does.

A 'true boy' who works on the railways, loves gadgets with remote controls and keeps Star Wars paraphernalia. Has an infinity with mountains having walked up and though them...whilst living atop Glasgow's windiest!!!! His greatest talent however is being able to drink copious amounts of alcohol and appear sober...a true gift.

Keeps the neatest thin line beard in SozÃ«.

JASON SHEERIN - SozÃ«'s bass player is the 'big daddy' of the group being both the only parent and tallest member of the band. He likes to don a kilt on stage, but this has more to do with his early love of GnR than patriotism.

The other members have watched in wonder and delight as he has gone from shoulder length haired 'hippy' to shaven head 'sexy/Right Said Fred!'* look whilst keeping the obligatory SozÃ« beard.

DIANE JARDINE - As is traditional with the singer, Diane has a plethora of opinions and she'll voice them all in song or chat. She loves to wander through life and other countries aimlessly and as the least 'rockin' member she rather strangely has no shame over her love of Duran Duran and vinyl albums.

Despite her best efforts Diane can't join the boys in the 'facial hair club'.
