Dear Friends.
It’s a sorrowful moment here for all of us at VRS. Having built up our Bank of Indie n Home-Made artist over the past 18 months I’ve reached the decision to axe the Show.
The fact is I cannot continue to finance everything myself. Our pay pal donation box has been sadly neglected and I feel the time has come to give up and realise that there will be no miraculous change in this situation.
It’s been wonderful meeting such a great variety of talent and I hope we’ll continue to communicate in the future. If nothing else the myspace site does have a pool of Artists and shall remain to leave you publicity, comments and easy access to other Acts.
Hope you understand the situation, I appologies to everyone waiting to appear on the Show but, enough is enough.

We have set up over the last eight months a pool of Independent and Home made artists to put the major record companies to shame. We are right now broadcasting our seventh show. If you go there and check it out I'm sure you'd agree that the talent there is awesome to say the least.
If you are an artists who's got nothing to do with the major recording companies, and you have a bandspace, and you think your music is up to it. Maybe you'd like to put your numbers up on the show, if so you can submit your mp3 files by going to our web page and clicking on add song. All the information is there.
As soon as I get your file I'll get back to you. But the first step is becoming a friend.

We started to discuss the posibilities of there being thousands of undiscovered talent out there recording everything themselves, as in my sleepy village there are no less than 3 cooking recording studios turning out good stuff.
Thanks to a suggestion from Charlie Gillet of World Music at the BBC and Ovel Recordings UK, he got me onto myspace with the help of Damian Rafferty of Fly Music UK. I had little clue about how the internet worked but I knew a mate who did. When I told him about the idea he agreed to help. That man is El Pepé our webmaster.
This site is especially for up and coming, as well as well molded Indie and Home made recording artists. It is our wish to draw attention to the follies of the major recording companies for faling to be able to cultivate and nurture talent rather than just exploit it for everything they can get. They have little or no idea about peoples head spaces towards their music.
Thanks to the Internet we now have a real platform to draw attention to and market our own music, as well as produce it freely, the way we know our fans like it, without interference or the so called help of the big boys. More and more artists are realising they can make a better living setting up shop and selling it themselves. At least they get a fatter return than with the record companies.
Apart from that, here on the internet you find the real artists. Those who aren't conditioned but trying to cator for the majors just becuse they wanna be big stars and fuck like rabbits. These artists do it for the sake of having to, because that's what they do.

She is also a most valued and esteemed friend. She has made history as the very first person to donate to the show. What she..s done is help us out a great deal and we want you all to know that Suz, even though she doesn..t benefit from our efforts is so generous that she..s helped us benefit from hers....
It isn..t about money of anything material like that, otherwise this show would have folded in a month due to no funds..It..s about what you..ve got in you heart, and Suz we want all our friends to know just how huge your heart is.
