Your martini has been served by a goth princess who'd rather be a dancer. The room is dimly lit with throbbing red lights, hanging haphazardly, that have found their coincidental rhythm with the kick drum - if you focus on them just right. As the candle in the center of your table illuminates your loneliness, the flame quivers around the wick as the female vocalist's whiskey-soaked verses trail into an infectious vibrato that dances like fingertips on the back of your neck. The guitar tones might share your sadness but never dare to weep. As you sit and gaze at the stage, you suddenly realize that you have never felt better feeling so alone.
