About Me

Dirt Farmer is the songwriting duo of Scott Cryer (vocals, guitar) and Rob MacDonald (guitar, keys). They recently teamed up with their friend, Producer... Slabba Blenda to gather local musicians and create an album that has a live, edgy feel. They recorded it over 3 days during a blizzard in an old Toronto warehouse. The songs they recorded chronicle the lives of underdogs and misfits with witty lyrics and alternative rock (frequently experimental) sounds.Dirt Farmer has been presenting their songs as a duo lately with their beloved drum machines, Miss Missy & Frank. Scott and Rob have also gathered considerable critical acclaim in the indie world from their work with Dirt Farmer as well as from their pop alter ego, Two Thirds Water. Scott and Rob’s music has been featured on CBC radio and television and garnered spots on several independent film soundtracks.
