godslastname emerges from a whirlwind of life that was born from a studio on toronto island called the gas staion. Tarik invited a pile of musicians to join him in an altered state session that would take place over 4 days . no one could show, except Keith. They forged their sound by slamming ideas at each other and recorded live with drums and another instrument. quickly overdubbing and finishing the material thery realized that an angel was born. The two invited 6 other friends to reproduce the recording live and had a CD release party under the name DOCTOR at the Supermarket bar in Toronto. Playing a weekly at the Cobalt to rehearse their new band and a few other gig's. Tarik then quickly fled the hustle and bustle of Toronto for a cabin at the edge of the world in Kingman's cove, Newfoundland. In this new solitary life he wrote and demo recorded a slew of songs for the new record. Three months later keith joined tarik in NL and they became godslastname. After finishing the demo the two wanderers kidnapped bass player Grant from the side of a road in Pouch Cove NL: waving a bottle of scotch out the window of the van the bass player was helpless to their lures. now on their way to world domination godslastname will be releasing their debut album"get ot the torches " in the spring of 2007.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
