I have a broad range of interests that include art, music, history, leadership , culture theory , knowledge management , technology , information design , body art and adornment especially tattoos but I do love body piercings as well (especially on women).
As to what I like doing, there's photography , hiking, yoga , baking (yes I can bake), going out to see bands play, watching the city go by, enjoying good food with good friends, figuring stuff out - that's the geek in me, and helping friends in need - that's what being a friend is.
I love meeting and hanging out with creative, interesting and inteligent people of all stripes, and anybody who enjoys experiencing all that life has to offer. I have been lucky over the last few years to have met many creative , talented and interesting people, and I've been even luckier to be able to call some of them my friends. Some of them have been good, some bad, some naughty and some nice (and a few have been all those rolled into one). And, I have to admit, a sense of humour helps, I really have a weakness for a particular type of funny and quirky.
I kind of listen to everything but if I had to say a few bands - new order, texas, social distortion, jeniferever, miss derringer, the waterboys, nick cave, sisters of mercy, the gun club, the cure, joy division, depeche mode, new model army, leftfield, johnny cash, interpol, happy mondays, dead can dance - and on and on and on. But these days it seems more roots-rock kind of thing (see the dakota)
Some stuff I have seen: 9 songs , until the end of the world , wings of desire , far away, so close , secretary , tampopo , eternal sunshine of the spotless mind , apartment zero , lost in translation , romance , 24 hour party people , montenegro , trainspotting , broken flowers , pulp fiction , hard core logo , videodrome , the duelist , blade runner
Well I don't really watch it that much, do I? Actually it can be a bit geeky when I do watch: history television, discovery channel, space, csi (original one, not the others) and don't forget comedy, a good laugh is always needed.
Some books and authors I've read: the graphic novels/comics of Guido Crepax , various Zone Books such as Fragments for a History of the Human Body , Foucault , Umberto Eco , Yellow Silk , William Gibson , Neal Stephenson
My mom and dad who are no longer with me, all my friends who put up with me, the weather man for being able to be wrong almost all the time but still keep his job
