Radioroad West, finalist in the American 'Song of the Year' Contest in April 2004.
The band was founded by Chris Tucker in the year 2000 when playing a home demo of his songs to a drummer, Dirk Morning, at Frankfurt music college for jazz and popular music. His good friend and fellow guitarist Tomek Witiak joined the band shortly later. Dirk moved to Berlin in 2001 and was replaced by a drummer called Claude Schauss from Luxembourg. This being too great of a distance for regular rehearsals, drummer Max Mahlert joined the band.
The current line up got together in May 2004 when bass player Dennis jumped on board and have been gigging around Europe since then. Encouraged by tremendous feedback from listeners and critics all over the world, they keep focused on writing and feeding new songs to their fans.
Their musical versatility was shown at a special unplugged show, for which lead singer and songwriter Chris Tucker wrote all the arrangements for the acompanying artists including a string ensemble. The album is out and available at www.cdbaby.com and iTunes.

Their second album Radioroad West - girls, cars, guitars was finally completed in 2007. This down to earth rock album is free of keyboards, samplers and artsy fartsy. Just the four guys. Loud as they like it. It is also available at www.cdbaby.com and iTunes.
