Welcome to 2006 and welcome to P.A.C.K Music!
P.A.C.K Music is a new joint venture between Danny Mac and Rob Armstrong, both of In-Flight Recordings.
Danny and Rob have set up P.A.C.K Music as they move the music away from past releases on In-Flight Entertainment and In-Flight Recordings.
P.A.C.K Music will incorporate two brand new labels. These are P.A.C.K and digi:P.A.C.K.
P.A.C.K will bring you an array of fresh and dynamic breaks and beats with a dance floor flavour. Artists already signed up for future releases include Mach One, DLP and Danny Mac, Bitrok and more.P.A.C.K releases will be available in both vinyl and digital formats.
digi:P.A.C.K has been launched to support the best up and coming producers, giving them the platform they deserve in a bid to get their productions heard in the world that is music. Also watch out for exclusive remixes of P.A.C.K tunes.
P.A.C.K Music will also manage the back catalogue of In-Flight Recordings, or which all releases will still be available for purchase in digital format.
In addition to the launch of these labels we have a new team member who is Andrea. She joins us to work on press and promotions. In her own words, here is what she has to say about herself:
To my dearest and nearest Im otherwise known as Elbows Andi, Night Owl and Betty, but Ill respond to anything! Emerging from the glamorous streets of Shepherds Bush, I grew up around a parade of 1 star hotels and dodgy kebab shops.what can I say, Im a down to earth lass with plenty of class who likes to make do.
As an aspiring laydee DJ and all-round music lover, my Fisher Price decks and collection of choons are close to my heart. Being a self confessed breaks chick and avid follower of the Breaks scene for the past 7 years, you could say Ive been burning the flaming candle at both ends for a while now. Owing my introduction to Breaks to legendary club nights Friction @ Urbantorque and Subterrain @ The End, I can still be found strutting my stuff at most Breaks fuelled nights with my motley crew, occasionally pausing to wipe the gurn off my chops!
And something that not that many people know about me.I have bendy arms! Im not a freak, just special!
