I listen to several radio shows as well, via the internet. I find sometimes I have to put aside what I do and just listen. I have to quit spinning, tweaking, and mixing.
I have to take a break from the search that I do worldwide for art, music, beauty, and knowledge.
Its easy to completely leave the plane of existence where we are at our optimum in enjoying life, we grow full to an extent that every milisecond is filled with an adjustment or task...mentally or physically.

At least with a video game you are actually using mental thought process...instead of sitting behind it going huh..what and not ever using your mind to think through things, improving its responses...
At least with professional VJing you are getting a thought stream, ideaology can be portaryed, thinking about what to do differently...not just some mental void, inclusive with under-development. I will watch a movie or use it like I mentioned above, but I will not become a fucking media vegetable controlled by every fucking little point of paranoia; broadcast worldwide by people driven by the advertising dollar and their own deceitful objectives. I also refuse to live for crisis, or become one of the masses pulling at the pant legs of what they see on TV and begin to worship. Its entertainment, GET A LIFE.
