Alan started off mixing back in 1998 with Hardcore & Jungle being his main styles, spending all his money on records from producers such as Force & Styles, Ratpack, Slipmatt, Billy Bunter & Dougal.
As his musical taste broadened, Alan was finding himself looking for a genre of music that could satisfy his needs of experimenting on the decks. He started looking towards the urban side of the scene, with his interests moving onto funky & down right dirty basslines in the way of breakbeat & house.
Shortly after Alan was offered a Monthly residency at Electro in Southampton under the guise of C.H.A.P with fellow funky breaks DJ Solrac.
Now with 4 residencies both weekly and monthly including regular appearances at the world famous Opera House in Bournemouth the breaks & house duo have notched up appearances all over the country.
Alan has played with Dj's such as; Eric Prydz, Sander Kleinenburg, Nic Fanciulli, Scratch Perverts, Krafty Kuts, JDS, Trevor Rockliffe, Leeroy Thornhill (Prodigy), Dj Steelo (Breaks FM), Stanton Warriors, Dj Hyper, Lee Coombs & Hybrid.
