About Me

This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!
Andrea Young has been sharing her gift of song since beginning classical violin at the age of two. Even though she was raised for a symphonic career, she always heard something special in the way Dolly Parton sang and Charlie Daniels played the fiddle. In her late teens, she began seriously exploring the country music that had always been in her heart.

Over the last few years, this Alton, Illinois native has been exploring the St. Louis and Nashville music scenes. Both an engaging live performer and solid session player, she is blessed to love her day job. She has toured internationally and played on albums of every genre. She is endorsed by Phil Jones American Acoustic Development, Glasser Bows, Jeri Hart Designs, Cowgirl Punk Clothing, www.extreme headphones.com, and What’s In Store Jewelry. Her electric fiddle home is with Ned Steinberger Violins (NS Design), where she was featured artist for nearly 6 months.

Under the guidance of producer D. Scott Miller, Andrea has developed into quite the triple threat; singer, songwriter, and of course fiddler. She has been blessed to learn from some of the very best. Her sound is truly unique, her work ethic inspiring, her talents immeasurable. This beautiful young lady will surely leave her mark on country music.
You can currently catch Andrea on Tim McGraw's "Live Your Voice Tour" with AMAZING opening act Halfway to Hazard...OR... With the Houseband SIXWIRE on CMT's "Can You Duet" every Friday evening!
