Influences: "Growing up listening to Country radio in the barns on my Dad's farm I got a good dose of the classics...Tammy, George, Loretta, Charlie and Dolly... even Deborah Allen who had this cool new sound I fell in love with. My Dad was a big Elvis fan...who isn't? In school and church I did traditional choir material. I started training classically when I was twelve. In high school I was in the jazz choir and started listening to pop. I loved it all. It didn't matter what kind of music... I just loved to sing. It wasn't until I was eighteen when a friend played me an Etta James song. I fell in love with her voice, her soul...and I knew right then that more than anything I wanted to sing with that kind of passion. And so I set out on my path to find my voice, my soul, my own passion. It's led me on an incredibly exciting journey of self discovery and awareness that I thank God for every day. I'm still learning, still growing and still finding inspiration all around me. Since I moved to Nashville my list of influences continues to expand. I've gotten to meet and work with some of my heroes like Deborah Allen, Gary Burr, Bob Depeiro and John Waite as well as some new inspirations like Chas Sandford, Stacy Widelitz, Jeffrey Steele and countless others. I love this ride and I count my blessings every day! Thanks for listening to my music. I hope you find something here that inspires YOU. Dream Always."
