About Me

Hawaiian born, Midwestern adopted and raised, appropriately depicts the cross-cultural inception of what has blossomed into the infused extreme musical crossover appeal and artistry of Heather Lynne Horton.Self-taught pianist, violinist, guitarist, mandolin player and vocalist - by the age of 4, Heather was performing works by ear off of the family Heathkit stereo. From Simon and Garfunkel to Mozart, her intrigue of perfect melodies, harmonies and storytelling surpassed what her adopted family were able to comprehend or exploit merely from their living room. Heather has mastered what the industry salivates for – “the total package.” Not just another great singer-songwriter and certainly not just another pretty face. “...Men want her and women want to be her. Her hair, face, body are absolutely wonderful and so much fun to watch! More importantly, her musical talent and perfectionism on stage are unmatched… (Horton’s) electric violin and sensual voice are out of this world!” (Karen J. Layers, Tangled Thoughts).Self-proclaimed and accused “music-obsessed”, Heather has spent her life formulating an evolution of excellence - creating music to visually, lyrically and musically appeal to the broadest cross-section of demographics ever possible. There is no age, sex, social relevance or music preference that can strip focus from her stage. “…I have seen, on many occasions, first time audience members drawn in, held captive and then released with the look of a gushing school kid running to their friends to proudly and excitedly report what they have just discovered…It's infectious - contagious…” (Mike Le Baron, 101.9 The MIX FM / US 99.5 FM, radio personality, Chicago, IL).This year, Heather has completed her solo debut CD entitled, Most Of All. From her catalogue of over 50 songs, narrowing the CD to a modest 10 tracks was a frustrating task, as “playing favorites” is an impossibility with the amount of passion slathered within the depth of each work. “…Heather possesses two characteristics in combination with her extraordinary performance talent, song writing skills and stage presence …uncompromising professionalism and loyalty to her craft…and a strong desire to succeed while developing her art and skills…” (Scott Levy, studio owner/producer/engineer).Look for Heather Horton showcasing across the country, seeking the ideal match for her ever-growing goals and ever-climbing star! “…Find Horton!... one of Chicago’s brightest, up-and-coming stars…” (David Kupcinet, Chicago Sun Times). “…To sum (Horton) up in a few words; intense, emotional, intoxicating, mesmerizing, innocent-yet-worldly. Simply put, Heather is an angel” (Joe Stephen, Standing Ovation Entertainment). www.hhroxx.comHeather Horton
