About Me
Once in a while you stumble across an entertainer who is so engaging, so charismatic, so talented, that you have to go back time and time again. Chelsea Field is one such entertainer.
A native of Marion, Ohio, Chelsea is no stranger to the stage. She has been singing since she was four years old and actively pursuing a career in country music for the past two. “I love country music because it always tells a story,†Chelsea said, “good or bad!â€
Chelsea is now immersed in Nashville’s very creative music community. “I’ve been writing a lot with some wonderful writers,†she said. Chelsea has recently been recording some of those songs for a new project.
The songs, like Chelsea, combine solid mid-western values with high energy. She writes about real life successes and heartbreak, and performs those songs with compelling candor and a seemingly unlimited vocal range.
But as much as Chelsea enjoys writing and performing, she loves the connection with her audiences even more. “To hear that something I wrote or a performance I gave touched someone means everything to me,†she said. “That’s what my music is really all about, giving expression to love and loss, hopes and dreams, joy and sadness. Those are experiences and emotions we all have and if my music can help someone through a rough spot or give their joy wings, then I can’t ask for any more than that.â€
And Chelsea has lots of experience in touching audiences. At age eight, she performed the “National Anthem†for a Cleveland Indians game. Later that year she sang for the Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Twins, and others. Since then she has become a regular opening act for such well-known artists as Big & Rich, Jason Aldean. Keith Anderson, Billy Currington, Dierks Bentley, Tracy Byrd, and Miranda Lambert, to name a few.
Chelsea regularly performs up and down the Eastern half of the United States, and has built a large and loyal following. If you have the opportunity, you won’t regret time spent with Chelsea Field. She’ll touch your heart as she amazes you with her talent. And as you listen, you may just make a new friend.
