Band Members: I'm so lucky to work with the musicians that I do. Unfortuantely, I don't get them all at the same time because they are valuable musicians. Kenny Lyon, Jason Meyers, or Mark Christian on guitar. Mike Boito or Jamieson Trotter on piano, Mike Bolger for either piano, trumpet, or accordion, Danny Frankel, Scott Breadman, Willie McNeal, Paul Allen, Mark San Filipo, or Mike Duffy on drums. David Ralicke, Matt Demerritt, or James King on sax/flute etc., Joey Aayoub (There are 2 in LA. The curly haired one), or Mike Uhler on bass.
Influences: This is not a fair question because my tastes are VAST!!! Outkast, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, Hank Jones, Norah Jones, Joe Pass, Mose Allison, Dave Frishberg, Peggy Lee, Aretha Franklin, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, Errol Garner, Earnestine Anderson, Fairground Attraction, Ry Cooder, Chet Baker, Paco Pena (Misa Flamenca) Imani Coppala, Macy Gray, Finley Quaye, Blondie, Bjork, Billy Joel, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, Bob Marley, Beatles (especially Paul McCartney), Sade, Santana, Oscar Brown Jr, Tina Turner (especially with Ike.), Eva Cassidy, Tom Waits, Frank Sinatra, Dave Edmunds (the album "Twangin" is my favorite), Fairground Attraction, The Real Tuesday Weld, The Police, Steely Dan, Taj Majal, Jim Bianco, Paul Simon, Lena Horne, Balinese Music, Nat King Cole, Bonnie Raitt...and so much more!
Sounds Like: jazzy and different.

Nature gives me happiness.

This week I've been seeing some beautiful sights.  Hawks, coyotes, a few deer walking around in the mountains and baby bats flying at dusk. Tonight I hear an owl hooting above my bedroo...

A jazz nazi might like this.

A note on the voice that pops-up in "Nobody Gets Over Ava": While Kenny and I were recording "X-Rated," we took a break and went to lunch at the HMS Bounty on Wilshire Boulevard,  Kenny said Hi t...
