About Me

Newcastle boy born and bred... something that makes me intensely privileged and massively frustrated to an equal degree.

"Children of the Moon" is a reworking of song written when young and playing in a young band. We were all optimistic, all horny and all ego. I respectfully dedicate the reworking to James, but I would guess Dave, Colin and the rest of the boys see themselves in there too.

"Prey Lord" (is off line at the moment but) was written about a girl who partied hard when young and who's understanding of life changed as her looks faded. However, the girl who inspired the song in question remains fabulous to this day and is doing very well thank you very much without any direct intervention from her God that I am aware of.

"Recovery" is a Jazz riff about those with a longing.... and "Lizzie" is about a girl I knew at school, .....may she still "taste as sweet"......

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: I do Piano and Accoustic Guitar... got some friends who help out when they are around. I havn't gigged for a while and most recently it's been solo stuff... payed my dues in the early days in the bars and clubs.. after 10 years or more of that I just needed a simpler life and get some kids under way. Next step is to write a new album ( a lot of my stuff is getting on a little), learn how to do a decent production and put down a tidy vocal. Once done I'll check out who wants to listen to it.

It's good to hear so much good stuff being posted... Kind of makes you want to have a bite yourself.
