About Me

Tom Cote started his life-long musical journey in the dank, musty cellar of a schoolboy chum. Together with his best friend on drums, a true drumming prodigy, and the aforementioned school chum on bass, Tom thrashed about on guitar... jumping, gyrating and generally putting his guitar so out of tune that his bass-mate had to literally tune it for him onstage. But the energy was there...there was no denying that!
The band was named TUMS, and had they stayed together the musical landscape as we now know it would have been changed forever.
But college and real life interfered, and the once promising combo was torn asunder.
Tom, however, was bitten, and had stumbled into what he would do for the rest of his life: write, sing and perform some of the catchiest, tastiest, and most interesting music on the planet.
Through a myriad of bands, Tom honed his writing and performing chops, never wavering from the vision of what he felt suited him best.
Listen for yourself, and you will hear tunes that are intelligent and thoughtful, but with killer hooks and melody lines that you just can't get out of your head.
Having become as accomplished with a recording rig as with a guitar, Tom has recorded countless tunes for and by himself. He can seemingly write in any style, and has recently been providing hook-laden pop songs to other artists as well.
Check out his many on-line offerings and you'll understand what a small but rabid fan base already knows: Tom is pure...pure songwriter, pure singer, pure artist. - Wes Talbot, Music Media Productions
