Before I became the lead singer with the death rattle vocals in CHELSEA GRAVEYARD AND THE SCREAMS AT MIDNIGHT( please see our myspace site for the music that will not DIE!), I sang in several bands starting way way back in highschool with The COMPOUND FRACTURE. Then came some college and then POOBA was born! We met The New York Dolls, kidnapped Iggy from a concert, gave acid to Hawkwind, sat on KISS's dressing room floor and talked for an hour, were banned from every venue in the Baltimore /D.C. area, sad sad daddios!! Too much cheesecake too soon- Baltimore and the world were not ready for this! A move to California followed the mass disintegration of POOBA. They were still smoking granola in Marin County and REALLY didn't get it!! Back to the home of John Waters and a failed reunion attempt with POOBA. Then there was ROCK HARD PETER! A power trio with singer format. GUESS WHAT? THEY STILL DIDN'T GET ME!! The Marble Bar opened and "THE PETER" had a home for a bit. Up , down, all around and another chapter closed. A break , a reunion of RHP, fade to black and then came THE ALCOHOLICS and a stint bartending and doing the flyers for the Marble Bar, where every punk new wave band that mattered , played and were given drinks by me or opened for by The Alcoholics, which begat PROBLEM PETS which were not to be house broken and broke up. A long break and then to a basement for 9 years with the psychedellic improv of PANG PANG(18 unreleased lps!!). Another 5 year break and then........CHELSEA GRAVEYARD AND THE SCREAMS AT MIDNIGHT."... we came down from our homes in the hills to see the things that were once so bright all is clogged and rubble twisted steel in sunlight so we lean against walls which are not and dream against the coming of night dead eyes floated in the ancient sink- a baby cried - the room dissolved I was one with the sky far above the sinking sea - out out damned candle wax wings melting I flew too high again - down down down screeching return to reality- the floor closes in an tight spiral - frigid in the still dim passages of the predawndaze oh mother can this really be the end- to be stuck inside my braincase with the baltimore blues again I am the living legend you heard so much about a rockin' rollin' rooster from the other side of town plug me in I'll do it again give me juice I'll roll around the stage My band's a throbbing unit they never miss a beat but I'm the up front member the press all wants to meet put me down you said it all before mark my words I'll die and rise again I do a dozen groupies at every one night stand and if there's any surplus I feed them to my band the girls we like are very fast and clean plug me in I'll do it again give me juice I"M A ROCK AND ROLL MACHINE Top of the pop yeah yeah yeah we're the bottom of the barrel The world turns all around us and I turn round to see Another time and vision another place to be The night air turns to morning and I turn back the clock Another day's begining Another future shock Then I run then I fall then I turn then you call........."
