About Me

Greetings. You're now hearing Mystic Bowie's song Mama, on my profile. I had the privilege of meeting and seeing/hearing Mystic perform last summer - fantastic appearance, he's an entertainer through & through. I strongly feel that Mystic is an artist worth supporting, so please check out his music & purchase his album if you like it... he's working to establish a non-profit music school for kids in his neighbourhood in Jamaica, too.
Mystic is a kind person, a humanitarian and a gifted artist; besides all that he's a very high-energy, compelling entertainer... & sooooo easy on the eyes, to boot ;). We will also be playing his music on Ramjam Radio , so tune in & listen for Mystic!

Part of Ramjam's core management team, Laurie - aka loz - functions primarily as Director/Coordinator for Ramjam. This means she's rather a 'jill of all trades', from designing and maintaining the website and services to administration, communication, facilitation and conciliation.
Multitasking and fulfilling a variety of roles isn't anything new for Laurie. In her life apart from Ramjam she is mother, writer, Reiki master , voice artist , newsletter publisher (in re: Lewis Taylor , British multi-instrumentalist/musical genius. In an odd way, it's due to her love for Lewis' music that Laurie ultimately ended up working with Glen/Ramjam. Feel free to ask how!), music lover/supporter, caregiver, designer, peace-maker and secretary, to varying degrees. Laurie's experience and skills, combined with her lively imagination, sense of humour, curiosity & spirituality - all seasoned with a deep interest in communications & various technologies - mean Laurie is ideally suited to her multi-purpose role with Ramjam.
While you're listening to quality tunes on Ramjam's broadcast, you can often find Laurie and other listeners chatting with DJs at Ramjam's live studiochat . Laurie invites you to join Ramjam's online family, if you haven't yet. Catch our broadcasts, talk with the DJs and use the website and services... we're here just waiting to welcome you into our Ramjam community.
...and yadda yadda yadda - all above is my profile on Ramjam Radio's site. if there's any possibility that you've not been bored to tears yet by all this about me, go check out ink1 , since that's one of my other major endeavours. OR... go check out Ramjam on MySpace now.
Please click the banner below to go hear all the tracks and support crashtv by purchasing the album!

My Interests

my kids & family; music - most everything; working & playing with Ramjam Radio ; recording for ink1 ; writing; Reiki ; working with a skateboard society to build a new park (designed their website & volunteer at all sorts of activities); and so on.

Music:

just a few for now... Lewis Taylor ; ink1 ; crashtv ; Michael Parker ; NIN ; Recoil ; Finley Quaye ; and more some other time when I've got the patience to type it.

Movies:

give me comedy, first & foremost. you can imagine everything else, because I'm too lazy to type it now. mostly though, I sleep through movies... even when they're good. eh, it's an 'I have sleep issues' thing.

Television:

what?

I don't watch much on purpose. when I do, though, here are a few I might catch: CSI, Everybody Loves Raymond, Third Watch, Mind Freak (Criss Angel), Friends, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Rick Mercer Report. I might catch some of these shows if my kids are watching tv, too: Family Guy, Trailer Park Boys, er... and some other ones.

Books:

oh, don't even get me started... the list would probably never end.

Heroes:

kids. parents. Michael Parker. Peter Dahl-Collins. GlenT. people who can still smile and look forward after life craps on them. those who work tirelessly to make life better for someone else, never asking for themselves.
