I am an artist and I like to sculpt and paint. I live in Columbus, Ohio with my son, husband, an English Mastiff named Niko, a 12 year old basset hound, an African Grey, 2 sulcata tortoises, a dwarf bunny rabbit, and an ornate box turtle. I dream of moving to the west coast or Vancouver, Canada in the future. Someday I hope to live in an old, haunted victorian. I love anything victorian, art nouveau, art deco or vintage stuff, Japanese style is also nice. New stuff is just not made like antiques were, same goes with houses.
I have struggled with depression and anxiety most of my adult life. Creating art is my therapy. Creating makes me happy. I have finally found something that doesn't bore me to tears. My father took his own life in '97 and ever since then I have realized that you must make your life how you want it, not what others think it should be. You must live for yourself and not let the negativity of others influence you because the negative thoughts will consume you as they once did me.
I can't do 9 to 5 desk jobs, they make me severely depressed. :( If I had to pick between a desk job and working at white castle, I would pick white castle.
I've been really lazy on the commenting lately so if you want someone that comments a lot then that probably isn't me, at least not this week. :)
