About Me

The picture above was taken in the Newstead Abbey Library.
Newstead Abbey is a wonderful place for inspiration!
Hi, I'm Gaynor, although some also know me by the name ArenA.
My website is changing from ArenA Creations to www.gaynorlewis.com.
I'm an artist, poet and writer, writing books which usually feature magic and enchantment, supernatural and ghostly happenings.
Now in the process of writing a few books, one features TiK ToK (image below), watch this space to hear more!
Also writing 2 other new novels, one is Shadow of the Arch - news to be updated later.
And also theres my childrens series about Amelaine the little fairy.
I'm always looking for opportunities so if you are interested in publishing any of my work - poetry and/or stories, please contact me with any info.
I'm married, have 1 son and live in Derbyshire, England, which is possibly best known for its green countryside, the wonderful Peak District, Bakewell Puddings and maybe the plague at Eyam.
I have recently completed an Animal Care Diploma and am currently studying Intermediate Animal Behaviour, Creative Writing and Pet Portraiture.
The picture above was taken in the Newstead Abbey Library. Newstead Abbey was Lord Byrons home and the estate really inspires me!
The 1st profile in my top friends, 'Brett', is my son btw :)
I penned my first poem that got published in a county newspaper back in the 70's, earning me £2. Which was a good amount back then for 1 poem, especially for a 9 year old. Since then many more have been published.
I have fibromyalgia, CFS and MC - improving and never giving in.
Because of this I can have trouble answering messages sometimes, due to restricting computer time so please bear with me.
Links below to visit my website and to sign up for my newsletter - My writing section will be added and the site updated yet again.
I'm a licensed artist with AMI - my artwork and photograph packages featuring some of my work are available from them at their website
more packages from me to be added there asap....
Click on the AMI link above to visit!
This myspace page will be expanded as I get time and pics etc added - please bear with me ~ thanks to all my friends who have come over here from my old profile ArenA, I see that many are still coming over each day, so glad to still be friends :) --- Chat soon ~ hugs and kisses xx
Please note: Any comments left that I consider spam-like, like the tracker ones or macys shall be deleted.
