About Me

Hello everyone...
Welcome to my personal friends and fan page!
I am Scott Clarke, I was born and raised in Nashville and I'm British from my father's side, my grandparents were from England. They moved to the USA in the 1930's.
On my mothers side, the rest of me is made up of Native American.
My great grandmother and great great grandmother were both full blooded Cherokee Indian.
I am a professional musician, music is the biggest part of my life and has been for many years. I've been playing professionally since the age of 16 and play all styles of music very well. Some of you may remember me back from the "Hair Metal Days", I was the drummer for the popular band, Madhatter for four years. We had a couple of singles released and got major airplay nationwide, "Get Ready(To Rock)" and "Bad Girl" which were our contribution and closest thing to hits we had for that era. I play many different instruments, 3 exceptionally well, (drums & percussion, guitar, bass and keyboards) and am a vocalist as well with a wide tenor range of almost 4 octaves. I'm also a published poet and have poems published in books nationwide and worldwide. I received "The Editors Choice Award" in 1999 from The International Library of Poetry for outstanding achievement in poetry for my poem, "The Window of Your Voice." My poem is in the large edition hardbound book of poetry called, "Our Forgotten Graces" which is available worldwide.
I have 6 CD's under my belt, 4 with "The June Wolfe Band" a jazz band in which I was the drummer for 5 years, along with my father Don Clarke, a phenomenal jazz guitarist. 2 CD's are live recordings of our band as a sextet, at large clubs in the Nashville area with a dual horn section, the other two are in the studio as a quintet which I produced, mixed and mastered myself.
My most recent CD released is called
Chromium Blitz, "Hardtimes", it's a 14 song long play of my all original Hard Rock/Metal band out of Nashville, Tennessee. If you haven't heard of us just do a search on the net and you'll find the band all over. This CD is full of music I've written, did most of the lead and harmony vocals, played drums, guitars, arranged, produced, recorded, mastered and engineered with two other guys I've played with for a number of years. The three of us came from Madhatter, the popular Hard Rock/Metal band from Nashville, TN I mentioned earlier. After our lead vocalist left the band we decided to take a new direction with the music and the lineup, and change the bands name to Chromium Blitz. You can buy the CD or download each song at most major music distributors out on the net including: Apple iTunes , Rhapsody , E-Music , Amazon , CD Baby , Tower Records , Target , Backstage Commerce and many more places.

My Interests

Rocking hard playing drums really loud and hard, laying down the booty bouncin' hard rockin' grooves in my new band which is shakin' it up this year and it's gonna kick some major ass! More news to come on that. I also enjoy playing guitar and bass, they're extremely fun as well. Studying guitar, learning various styles, new techniques, experimenting with different guitars and sounds. Giving guitar lessons as well as drum lessons. Creating, Arranging, Recording, Producing and Mixing music. Love the studio! I also enjoy Photography, Writing Poetry & Songs, Football (Big UT Fan), Watching and Collecting Movies, Watching Vintage 70's Classic TV Shows, Finding Great Music, Listening to Music, Live Shows, Riding Horses, Animals, Cooking Out, Fine Dining, Sunny Days, Landscapes, Hiking, Biking, Long Walks, Quiet Romantic Nights at Home, Playing Slots, Traveling Abroad, Fine Italian Wine, Beer and Food, European Beer, Sex, Computers, Computer Photo Editing and Graphics, that's it for now. Everything here I've mentioned isn't listed in any order, if you want to know what I like to do the most just ask me. In the meantime just see if you can guess! Duh?

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Real Rock-n-Roll and Heavy Metal Baby! Traditional Metal, Power Metal, Progressive Metal, (Any kind of Metal where they actually sing and it's melodic) Industrial Hardcore, Hard Rock, Progressive Rock, Classic Rock 70's & 80's, New Wave, Pop, Jazz, Big Band Swing, Funk,(Real) Blues, Western Swing, Texas Boogie, Country Punk, Alternative, Reggae, Classical Piano, Classical Flamenco Guitar, Bluegrass, Acoustic Folk, Some Old and New Country. I don't like Rap, Hip Hop or todays R&B. Anything that's heavy, deep in thought, played by musicians with REAL talent, with REAL instruments that took time to create, written with feeling and doesn't sound like it was written in five minutes or less.

Movies:

Classic Westerns, Action Adventure, Comedies and Mysteries are my favorites. Drama's are ok as long as they aren't boring, are well acted and have a great story from start to end.

Television:

Books:

I don't read much but when I do it's mainly about things that are informative and helpful, in life and with my career, short articles in magazines that are very educational. I prefer to write more than read, it's more creative.

Heroes:

My Grandfather and my Dad have been my biggest influences in my life. My Dad inspired me as a musician in a big way from when I was little and was a wonderful father from day one. My Grandfather always made time for me and was a lot of fun to be around, he also taught me many things about life. One thing he always said a lot to me when I was younger was, "you can do anything if you set your mind to it boy". Just about everything they both ever said to me has proven to be true to this very day, I miss them both very much.
