About Me

For Booking Info Call: Jimmy - 562.208.0055
It wasn't long after the death of Johnny Cash in 2003 that Jimmy Lugosi saw that there was still a need for a "man in black". With the gothabilly scene vanishing into the mists from which it came and psychobilly becoming something you could by at the mall, Lugosi took on the curse of the American song writer and began the arduous task of drinking himself to death, resurrected by the sound of a broken bottle across a beat up old guitar emerged the nightmare that would later be known as the DropDeadBeats.
Enlisting the aide of guitar slinger and former assassin for hire Chris VonKarloff songs of death and desperation began to take shape.
Breathing life into these songs is the King of the Cowbell Anthony Munster and the driving rhythms of one Grim Jim Crowley.
Combining all that is good and true in country, punk, surf and deathrock the DropDeadBeats are bringing psychobilly back to it's roots.
This is REAL AMERICAN PSYCHOBILLY, this is the DropDeadBeats.
