Born in Glasgow Scotland an early love of music led him to the Guitar and a brief affair with heavy rock but on discovering FLAMENCO, it captured his imagination & it became his TRUE LOVE.
His guitar became his constant companion and his love for this music has taken him to Spain to study on several occasions. This together with his dedication and experiences playing with other flamenco musician’s dancers and Singers, has resulted in him becoming a very talented & versatile player.
These days he teaches flamenco guitar private tuition & at the Spanish Guitar centre in BRISTOL (http://www.spanish-guitar-bristol.co.uk) and plays with a varied line up of flamenco artists in & around Bristol..............
Cuffy also plays with the Bristol based "Up Bustle & out"

Twenty years ago, Kevin visited Andalucia and became entranced by flamenco music. He set about teaching himself to play and over the next years developed a unique style characterised by its inventive rhythmic fluidity and evocative lyricism. He now lives in Bristol and performs solo, with the modern flamenco quartet Calima, with Robado, his jazz/flamenco quartet, and with a violinist, as Klezmer-Flamenco. He also teaches at Bath Spa University College.

But be it latin beats or Flamenco rythms, Ivan always hits the spot with a variety percussion instruments and his vocal talents.

Born in Madrid, youngest of 9 daughters. Her father is an artistic agent & her mother a dancer.
She began learning Spanish Dance at the age of 7 at The Royal Conservatory of Dance in Madrid. At the age of 12 she began to study under Carmen Romero and at 15 joined her Ballet. During this time she also taught Spanish Dance at various colleges and dance Academies .
In 2003 Alejandra came to the UK and has danced and taught in many cities in England and Wales.
She is at present based in Cardiff.
AMANDA FRESCURA

AMANDA began her dance career with the Royal Ballet Company as a classical dancer. Her first appearance at the Opera House Covent Garden was at the age of 13. After graduation she became a full member of the Company and danced in many of the great classics.Later she discovered Flamenco and turned her interest more seriously to this dance form going to London and Spain to further her knowledge. She has been working with Cuffy for 4 and years and performs regularly with other members of 'Flamenco collective'. Amanda has many years experience as a dancer and teacher and runs Flamenco Workshops for schools and colleges in addition to her regular classes in Bristol and Stroud. She holds 2 academic degrees and is an Associate member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She teaches Advanced Ballet at Filton College, Bath University and Swindon Foundation Dance. She has also lectured Anatomy & Physiology for the London Studio Centre’s BA Dance Degree programme and now lectures on the ISTD teacher training programmes.

MONICA DE HUELVA,
Flamenco Singer
Based in Spain
Born in the southern spanish village of Beas , flamenco is in Monica's blood.Her talent for singing emerged early and she is often called upon to sing at local ferias and festivals.
Having spent several years studying in England, she has maintained her friendships with her UK Flamenco friends since her return to Spain.
Monica's makes (almost) yearly visits to join her friends in performances.The chance to hear this powerful flamenco diva is always eagerly anticipated.

They all perform & teach individually in and around the Southwest of England but often work together on projects & events
If you're ever in Central Bristol (UK) on a Sunday evening around 8pm ,you can find members of the flamenco collective performing in a regular sunday evening show at "el puerto" Tapas bar.
