Although his roots are firmly in Scotland it seems Cuffy's Soul belongs to Spain
An early love of music led him to the Guitar & a brief & torrid affair with heavy rock with the band 'Black Friday'
But once he discovered FLAMENCO GUITAR, it captured his imagination & it became his TRUE LOVE.
His passion for Flamenco music took him on several trips to Spain to study & his life has been immersed in flamenco ever since.
Playing with other musicans, dancers & Singers & constant practice has resulted in cuffy becoming a very talented & versitile player with a deep understanding of Flamenco

At the moment he teaches Private guitar lessons & lessons at The Bristol Spanish guitar Centre.
He plays solo & with a varied line up of flamenco artists in & around Bristol, Performing at festivals, events , promotions & private parties
He plays with one line up known as 'Calima' ,another called 'Almibar' & is part of 'The flamenco collective'
He also guest features regularly on 'Up Bustle & Outs' recordings & performs at their UK & other European gigs
